The more I do this work, the more it’s clear that it’s the “wisdom to know the difference” part that’s hard – it’s where the rubber hits the road. It asks that a person notice and remember accurately (and honestly) what has happened before – especially including their own piece – to then arrive at the wisest choice. A fortunate few navigate well on their own, but more than ever people humbly realize they’d be well served talking with someone outside of themselves in order to sort things out and be “wise” about how to move forward from here.
