A Cure for Hyper-Parenting – NYTimes.com

I really liked the gist of this article, especially the point that “the problem with hyper-parenting isn’t that it’s bad for children; it’s that it’s bad for parents.” 

And that’s the part that’s bad for the children.  Kids shouldn’t be able to actually succeed at turning their parents inside out.
